The Ashley Jones Trilogy

‘It Starts With Goodbye’ Rewrite: Update #3

Yesterday, I finally finished the rewrite of the third and final book of the Ashley Jones Trilogy!

Although it’s still in its unedited first draft stage, but I’m so much happier with it than I ever was with the original book. The characters feel more developed and three-dimensional. They have actual goals (Ashley finally acts like an actual human being with real emotions), and everything is much cleaner and driven toward the ending than before.

Which reminds me that I even added a brand new ending to the book!

Overall, the first draft ended up being 41,250 words. I’m setting it aside until the beginning of April, when I’ll begin the first edit of the book during CampNaNoWriMo.

I’m incredibly excited to share the editing process with you, as well as (in due time) share the final cover of ‘It Starts With Goodbye’. Although I don’t have a set release date, I know it will be this year in 2018, and I can’t wait to get it out there to you.
