Today, we're getting back into the Carver-Baxter series again. Me, a little writing, a little MaltOMeal in my new Stitch mug, and a little Supernatural 💜
It's been two weeks since I held my sweet boy for the last time. Two weeks since I gave him his last bath. Two weeks since I cleaned the gunk out of his eyes and tried to syringe feed him one last time. It's been two weeks since I forced myself to go to sleep in preparation for his Rainbow Bridge appointment, two weeks since I woke up to find he'd passed shortly after I laid down.
I think it's time to finally get back into writing book one of the Carver-Baxter series.
Working on a bit more research for my Snow White retelling. Snow White in this story is a psychic, and the "seven dwarfs" are all dead. Still no WIP title, but I'm super excited to get into it!
We might write nothing, or we might write a whole book. Either way, I've got my writing buddy and his Rexy 💜
Did some writing this morning before sleep (alongside some Left 4 Dead) and a little bit more this evening. It's only going well because I'm rewriting a past idea that was primarily completed. Still, even with the actual story done, writing is slow. My dominant wrist has been weak and sore and relentlessly painful for several weeks now, brace or no brace. Maybe someday my wrist will tolerate existing again, huh?
For the first time in a while, I'm going to sit down and play some Left 4 Dead. In the first time in an even longer while, I'm playing on the Xbox! The controller tends to be a little too big for my knuckles to stand, but with most of my pain in my back, shoulder, neck, and elbow, I think I can manage for tonight.
Tiny snippet from chapter one of the new book one of the Dallas Silver series!
Admittedly, the dead battery HAS slowed my roll, but as soon as this tablet has enough power to turn on, we're going to figure out what's wrong with Truths and Chains and hopefully fix it once and for all.

Me, a heating pad, and my favorite writing buddy. Let's write some Vampires 💕

An oldie but a goodie
It's been a bit since I've worked on anything in the romance sphere. I'm doing my best to focus solely on my newest crime novel (@everythingbook16). In the meantime, here's a snippet from Love Tends the Garden!
From a short I started a while back. It came to a dead end, but I'm hoping I can do something with it eventually
Title's a work in progress, but here's a little snippet from the short story I started yesterday. I'm hoping to finish it today, but we'll see how it goes. If nothing else, the goal is to put in at least another 1,000 words before the end of the night!

About Me

I’m Courtney, a twenty-two-year-old self-published author from an incredibly small town of only around 200 people. I first found my love for writing when I was much younger, only about five or six. Of course, back then, I was writing stories about talking unicorns and their mice friends rather than murder mysteries and paranormal novels.

To sum myself up in the easiest way: I’m a nocturnal being with a deep passion for writing, an unnatural obsession with research, and an extreme iced coffee addiction.
